Children's Ministry

Christ Church cherishes children. We have a full-time trainee children’s pastor (Ashley Benson) who heads up a committed and gifted team of leaders for ‘J-zone’. Most Sundays, children are in the 10.30am service for the first 15 minutes and then go to their own worship, teaching and games, which last about an hour. There is also an excellent crèche during the service. Once a month we have an All-Age service.

On 13th January, a brand new high-energy service will also be launching, at 4pm on Sundays, planted from the 10.30am service and aimed specifically at children. Highlights will include puppets and a bouncy castle, and the service will be finished by 5pm in good time for bed!

There are many more activities that go on for children. The Mums’ & Toddlers’ group meets on the Wednesday morning and is a hive of social activity. There are also other events throughout the year for children.
