Music On Mondays
Autumn 2008
This series of lunch-time recitals runs from 21st January to 16th
June. It consists of organ, instrumental, vocal or choral recitals, each
lasting about 40 minutes (from 12.40pm to 1.20pm).
Latecomers are requested to enter only during a suitable break in the
performance.
In order to meet the cost of the recitals we invite those attending to make
a donation (we suggest £3.00).
Christ Church is pleased to acknowledge the assistance of Woking Borough
Council in supporting these events.

Relax in the friendly atmosphere of the church in the centre of Woking's new
shopping area, and enjoy some good music. Refreshments are available in the
Beacon Café in the church, both before and
after the recitals and Christian books, CDs, videos and cards are on sale in
the new Wesley Owen bookshop.
The Beacon Café is staffed by Christian
volunteers some from churches other than Christ Church. If you are a
committed Christian and would like to help in the church then details can be
obtained from the Parish Office.
Christ Church is committed to the encouragement and development of creative
and artistic gifts as part of its response to God as creator and life-giver.
Details of organ recitals are now available nationally at
a new web site.
