Christ Church Youth Ministries Graceworks is the young people and youth
work of Christ Church Woking. It is for young people of secondary
school to sixth form / university age. We are not about events,
although we do them. We are about real relationships, with each other
and with God. We are about seeking intimacy with our Creator, Saviour
and King.
The events that we do run aim to help young people meet with God and
put him at the centre of their lives.
Re:route/root – is the focus of CCYM Graceworks.
It is a weekly youth worship event that happens most Sunday mornings.
Life is often described as a journey - which route are we going to take
- re:route is about getting back on track with God where we put the
focus of our lives back on Jesus and start following Him again. We also
recognise the importance of rooting ourselves in God’s strength,
knowing that if our roots are in God’s good soil we can be secure
and remain firm in God even when things around us are really difficult.
We run Cell groups during the week as a way of discipling our young
people further and provide the drop-in as a regular social time for our
young people and their friends every Friday evening.
We also look to have regular 24/7 prayer weeks and take groups to the
Soul Survivor festivals as a way of encouraging people’s journeys
with God.
We are mission focussed looking to give grace to the people around us
in a variety of creative ways. For several years this has included
running overseas summer mission projects.
